Okavango World Festival – Terms & Conditions

1. General Refund Policy

All ticket purchases for the Okavango World Festival are final unless otherwise stated. However, we understand that circumstances may change, and we offer refunds or exchanges under the following conditions:

a) Event Cancellation

• If the festival or a specific event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of your ticket price (excluding optional fees, such as insurance or donations).
• Refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method within 14 business days.

b) Event Postponement

• If the event is postponed, your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
• If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement.

c) Refund Eligibility for Attendee Cancellations

• Refund requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the event for a partial refund (subject to a 10% administrative fee).
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the event.
• Non-refundable tickets (e.g., charity/donation tickets) will be clearly marked at purchase.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

1. Log in to your account on our website.
2. Go to “My Tickets” and select the ticket you wish to refund.
3. Click “Request Refund” and follow the prompts.
4. You will receive a confirmation email once processed.

Alternatively email us at: refunds@okavangoworldfestival.com with:

• Your order number
• Full name and contact details
• Reason for the refund request

3. Processing Time & Method

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
• The refund will be issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, mobile money, etc.).
• Bank transfers may take additional processing time (depending on your financial institution).

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

• No-shows (failure to attend without prior notice).
• Partial attendance (e.g., leaving the event early).
• Tickets purchased via third-party resellers (contact the seller directly).
• Optional add-ons (e.g., merchandise, donations).

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

• If you dispute a charge without first contacting us, your ticket may be voided, and you may be banned from future events.
• Always reach out to our support team support@okavangoworldfestival.com before initiating a chargeback.

6. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events, refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We may offer:

• Credit for a future event.
• Partial refunds
